"IT'S JUST YOUR LITTLE MOMENT THAT NO ONE NEEDS TO KNOW"- MICHELE LEE
New York City illustrator Michele Lee, owner of Lucky Horse Press and collector of pigs of all shapes and sizes, welcomed us into her home with a smile. We loved the way her living space reflects her work with bold, simplistic patterns and colors. She uses the lithograph process which is detailed and labor intense. Qualities engendered by her father, a huge source of inspiration for Michele. A business owner himself, Michele's father instilled a dedication to hard work rather than relying solely on natural talent. Michele relies on repetition and determination through out the creative process. Lucky Horse Press sells stationaries and large print illustrations. Her illustrations, like her home, are filled with little nooks of peculiarity. Through these objects Michele recreates a little moment that's all her own.
