We happened upon Coast to Coast Vintage while wandering around the many flea markets Brooklyn has to offer. Coast to Coast's set up was a lot different and quite unique even amongst the quirky vendors at the Brooklyn Flea.
The proprietors, Jaimee and Adam, bought an old camping trailer, removed the original interior and then custom built the interior to look like a cute little shop. In the summer they set up their vintage finds in and around the camper. When fall comes they take to the road. So far they've spent a lot of time on the East Coast. They have traveled to the West Coast and plan this winter to explore that market more in depth. So lookout for them. You can find out where they will be on their website's tour page.
Coast to Coast Vintage has a strong collection of clothing that spans mainly the 80's and 90's. Every item in the shop was hand picked with their particular sensibilities. Each item has a handmade tag with a map of the states. A hand drawn heart shows which state the item was found. The care and attention of detail makes Coast to Coast Vintage such a standout shop.
